Discuss the entry and outdoor use
We learn how you enter, store items, sit outside, and move between the home and porch.
We build porches around your home's entry, outdoor use, and existing exterior. Our team reviews local permitting needs before construction begins.
A planned entry gives doors, stairs, railings, and walking paths a more useful relationship.
A covered porch can create a more comfortable place to pause, sit, and welcome guests.
New trim, decking, and finish details can connect the porch with the home's existing exterior.
A well-planned structure gives the project a defined scope before construction starts.
Porch construction is a building service that creates or renews a covered or open entry space connected to a home.

Porch construction joins an outdoor platform to the way your home is used. The work may include framing, decking, stairs, railings, trim, lighting coordination, and a roof or cover when the design calls for it. The main buyer decision is fit. A porch should support the entry path, furniture, drainage, and the home's exterior without crowding doors or windows. We review those relationships before the build plan takes shape. Porch work also has limits. Existing framing, soil, utilities, access, and property conditions can affect the final plan. We review feasibility and coordinate permitting before construction begins, so site and compliance issues are addressed early.

Best remodel experience we have ever had. The oversight, careful workmanship and ownership of the project was above expectations. Our design team was amazing. We also had the same person do all the work start to finish and was a total Pro. Could not recommend enough and will be doing any and all projects through them. This place is a gem.
Linda and her team did an excellent job! We would highly recommend them. We hired her for a kitchen remodel and asked for a very tight timeline. She delivered and we absolutely love the result. She was very commutative and available to us. Thank you Design and Build NW!
Overall I enjoyed working with Linda and her team. Even though there were no major redesign of spaces and I knew exactly what tile/fixtures/cabinets etc I wanted I still was appreciative of her insight on certain details and choices. It was very easy to collaborate with her. She makes an effort to be in-tune with a client. She was very responsive and took care of everything that needed attention as soon as she was able too. She made sure that I was listened to and taken care of as a client with her subcontractors. I would work with her again.
Is your porch worn, cramped, or hard to use? Request your porch construction estimate from HomeRemodelBellevue.com and discuss the entry, materials, stairs, and planned scope.

Soft boards, loose railings, or uneven steps can make a daily entrance feel unsafe. Porch construction needs a close look at the walking surface, framing, connections, and stairs before finishes are chosen. Start by noting where movement or damage occurs, then ask us to review the entry and prepare an estimate for the needed work.
A narrow entry may leave no room for a chair, package, or dry place to pause. The porch layout must fit door swings, windows, stairs, and the path around the home. Bring your preferred uses and any photos or sketches, so we can discuss a footprint that supports everyday movement.
A new porch can look disconnected when its trim, railing, surface, or roof line ignores the existing exterior. Material selection should follow the home’s scale and finish details, while the structure still supports safe entry. We can review the outside of the home, discuss the desired look, and outline the construction work.
